It’s hard to have a much better day at the plate than Green Forest senior Leah Evans enjoyed against Yellville-Summit on Friday, April 14.
Evans went 4-for-4, including a pair of home runs, drove in seven runs and scored four times as the Lady Tigers rolled to a 16-9 road victory.
Evans collected both of her home runs and all seven of her runs batted in over the final two innings, blasting a three-run home run in the top of the sixth to break a 4-4 tie and following up with a grand slam in the seventh for a 12-6 Green Forest lead.
Green Forest will play at Ozark Mountain on Tuesday before hosting Berryville on Thursday.
