After government funding was cut for The Purple Flower Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Resource & Support Center, a Carroll County organization for survivors of domestic violence, the Holiday Island Elks Lodge No. 1042 stepped up with a donation of $4,000. The funds were provided through a grant from the Elks National Foundation.
