Join the Friends of the Library from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in the Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library Garden located at 186 Spring St. for an evening of music, hors d’oeuvres and drinks. All proceeds from this event will be put toward a matching grant due Oct. 15 for the much-needed elevator replacement. Without the elevator, many patrons have been left without access to the library; this update is critical and urgent, and the public’s help is needed! The cost is a $35 minimum donation. Visit https:// espubliclibrary.square. site/ to purchase tickets or call the library at 479-253-8754. Space is limited.
