Edith Gardner of Berryville, Arkansas was born on December 9, 1937, in Littleton, Colorado to Owen and Maxine (Yonkers) Nichols. Edith passed away January 6, 2023, in Springdale at the age of 85.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her family and church family.
Edith is survived by her children, Monty Tidyman and wife Mary, Marlene Weathereal, Leonard Tidyman and wife Cindy; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special friends, Carolyn, Lola, and Connie; along with a host of other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Maxine Nickels; husband, Wayne Gardner; daughter, Nancy Davis; three great-grandchildren, Tori, Hannah, and Evan; sisters, Beverly Newport, Delia Mc Ghee; and brother, Raymond Nickels.
Visitation was 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Graveside service was 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2023, at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Larry Keith of_ciating.
