With Easter approaching, churches, community organizations and local groups across Carroll County are planning a full slate of activities for families, from egg hunts and worship services to community gatherings and children’s events.
Berryville Community Center Easter Egg Hunt The City of Berryville, in partnership with the Berryville Community Center Foundation, will host an Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Berryville Community Center, 601 Dr. Spurlin Circle.
The event will include egg hunts for children up to age 15, vendors, an appearance by the Easter Bunny and a “Touch-A-Truck” experience featuring local emergency and service vehicles.
Towering Oaks Church Easter Egg Hunt
Towering Oaks Church will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 6 p.m. Friday, April 3, at 1159 U.S. Highway 62 West in Berryville.
The event will include a puppet show, music, prizes and an egg hunt for children in fifth grade and younger.
Emy & Ash Kids Outlet Easter Egg Hunt
Emy & Ash Kids Outlet will host an Easter Egg Hunt from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Pioneer Park behind the Berryville Public Library.
The event is open to children under age 10, with age groups divided into separate areas. Parents are asked to remain with their children and bring a basket or bag.
Participants are also invited to visit the store on the Berryville Square immediately after the hunt to claim prizes.
New Life Church Easter Eggstravaganza
New Life Church will present its Easter Eggstravaganza from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 4, at the Berryville Community Center basketball gymnasium.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with the egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. The event will also feature golden egg prizes, an obstacle course, bounce houses and games. The event is open to the public.
Carroll Co. Sheriff’s Office Easter Egg Hunt The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at 205 Hailey Road in Berryville.
Activities will include an egg hunt, hot dogs and photos with the Easter Bunny.
Forerunner House of Prayer Easter Celebration Forerunner House of Prayer in Green Forest will host an Easter Sunday celebration beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 5, at 9067 U.S. Highway 62, one mile east of Green Forest.
The schedule includes breakfast from 9 to 10:15 a.m.; professional family photos (free 8x10) from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; worship service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; and a candy drop from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
The event is open to the public and designed as a day of celebration and fellowship.
