Donald Ray Phillips was born in Berryville, Arkansas on November 12, 1926, to Charlie and Mary (Downs) Phillips. Donald passed away July 28, 2023, in Harrison at the age of 96.
He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Donald taught Sunday school at Freeman Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing music and guitar. Donald and Elaine loved to sit on the porch together to watch and talk about the birds.
Donald is survived by his wife, Elaine Phillips; children, Mike Phillips of Bentonville, Pat Phillips and wife Tonya of Springfield, Missouri, Mary Ann Ciulla and husband Mike of Fayetteville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary Phillips; great-grandson, Mike Phillips; brothers, Joe Phillips, Ed Phillips, Kenneth Phillips, Vertis Phillips; sisters, Wanda Kisner and Johnnie Matney.
