■Officers received a report of a female who was riding in a car with a child when her ex drove them across the Missouri line, stopped the vehicle and told them they could die there together. The female reported that the male had a gun, but did not tell her he was going to kill her or point it at her. Officers gave the female the phone number to the Stone County, Mo., sheriff’s office.

■An officer responded to a report of someone having a box of checks stolen from their mailbox.
