Dianna Jo Carter Ray was born on April 19, 1953, in Harrison, Arkansas. She departed this world on April 2, 2023. Dianna was a devoted wife, mom, nanny, daughter, sister, and so much more to everyone around her. In her youth, she enjoyed horses and barrel racing.

She was joined in marriage with her husband, Gerald Ronald Ray, on January 16, 1988. _ey created a family that she loved and cherished dearly. If she wasn’t sewing, you could nd her dutifully in the stands watching her grandchildren play sports. She never missed a game, milestone, or birthday party. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a tax accountant at Accu Tax, and eventually for herself, at Dianna’s Tax and Bookkeeping for most of her years. She was known to take a few extra minutes to chat.

Dianna is survived by three children, Amanda Bailey Rushing (Neil) of Berryville, Robin Wilson of Harrison, and Ronnie Ray of Green Forest. Nine grandchildren, Taylor Wells (Kylea) of Harrison, Ashley Eagleson (Caleb) of Green Forest, Justin Wilson (Jordan) of Harrison, Gavin Ray of Harrison, Audrey Rushing of Springdale, Taylor Rushing of Springdale, Lilli Compton of Berryville, Chase Rushing of Springdale, and Kort Rushing of Berryville. _ree great-grandchildren, Breck and Vail Wilson of Harrison, and Clayton Eagleson of Green Forest. One brother, Ronnie Carter (Patti Carter) of Bella Vista. Two brothers-in-law, Bill Ray of Green Forest and David Ray (Priscilla Ray) of Berryville.

Preceding her in death is, husband of 26 years, Gerald Ronald Ray. Her parents, John Fred and Mary Maxine Carter. One son, Gerald Wayne Ray. One sister, Ramona Jean Carter. Two sisters- in-law, Freddie Ray and Jo Ray. One brother-in-law, Bob Ray.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., _ursday, April 6, 2023, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Grandview Baptist Church with Pastor Billy McCall o ciating. Interment will follow at High Cemetery.
