Why are you seeking this office, and what experience or perspective best prepares you to serve effectively?

“I am seeking this office because our community deserves steady, respectful leadership that focuses on the core responsibilities of county government, treats residents as partners, and takes measurable actions based on community input. Local government works best when decisions are transparent, communication is clear, and elected officials remain accountable to the people they serve.

“My experience collaborating with community members, volunteers, and local organizations has taught me to listen carefully, solve problems practically, and follow through on commitments. I approach public service with preparation, accountability, and a focus on results that benefit the entire community. Showing up, asking thoughtful questions, and following through are essential to effective public service. I bring a grounded perspective focused on results, responsibility, and earning public trust through consistent, professional conduct.”

What do you see as the most important issue facing your district right now, and what specific actions would you take to address it if elected?

“ Reliable infrastructure — especially safe, well-maintained roads — is the most immediate issue facing our district. Roads affect public safety, daily life, emergency response, and local economic activity, so keeping them reliable is essential.

“Effective infrastructure management requires more than funding; it also requires planning, transparency, and accountability. If elected, I would prioritize clear infrastructure planning, data-driven maintenance schedules, and regular updates so residents understand how priorities are set and how taxpayer dollars are spent. When leadership is consistent and communication is clear, essential services improve, and public confidence is restored.”

How do you approach budgeting, taxpayer dollars and longterm financial responsibility at the level of government you are seeking to serve?

“ I believe in living within our means and treating taxpayer dollars with care and respect. Budgets should prioritize essential services, produce measurable results, and plan for long-term sustainability— not short-term fixes that create future problems.

“My approach is to review expenditures carefully, ask questions, and ensure funds are used efficiently and transparently. Responsible budgeting balances immediate needs with long-term stability, protecting public trust while delivering reliable services the community depends on. Planning ahead, avoiding unnecessary costs, and making thoughtful decisions ensures both fiscal health and consistent service for residents.”
