Green Forest High School held its first annual Decision Day on Thursday, April 17, in the Grim Gym.

The event honored the GFHS Class of 2025 and recognized their future plans.

Talent Search pins were presented to Henry Aguilar, Mahalie Alvardo, Anslee Bailey, Lilyana Bailey, Eregly Gaspar, Brityn Gilliam, Lejrack Jacklick, Lay La, Mookoku La, Estrella Lezama, Andrea Lopez, Gabriela Lopez, Stephanie Lopez, Kayla Lozano, Mason Meador, Erbin Mendoza, Guadalupe Merida, Abel Montoya, Nobea Moo, Keyla Moto-Valencia, Alyvia Newboles, Audrey Phillips, McKensey Randolph, Haddasah Reyes, Jose Reyes, Kiera Reyes, Lydia Russell, Johneese Smalley, Allison Sotomayor and Alyson Tegley.

Seniors Logan Peden and Anthony Juarez plan to attend The Learning Center.

Seniors Citlali Gomez Ortega, Stephanie Gonzalez Lopez, Guadalupe Merido-Saucedo, Elena Quiroz, Thanya Rabanales and Lydia Russell plan to attend the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

Seniors Kayla Lozano- Merido, Allison Sotomayor and Wescley Lopez plan to attend the University of Central Arkansas.

Seniors Eregly Gaspar- Guinac, Estrella Lezama, Andrea Lopez, Gabriela Lopez- Tzoc, Nobea Moo, Kiera Reyes-Ochoa, Alexandra Romero, Johneese Smalley, Henry Aguilar, Braden Epperly, Christopher Lemus and Abel Montoya Aldana plan to attend the University of Arkansas.

Seniors Grace Carlton, Kayleigh Doshier and Randy Ochoa plan to attend college.

Seniors Hannah Aday, Thomas Blewett, Cameron Cenobia, Jenavieve Decker, Kellie Denny, Sauly Duran, Christi Florian, Eduardo Mendoza, Hunter Peden, Eliseo Reyes, Jose Rivera, Darvin Romero Hernandez, Sintia Sagastume, Hae Tpleh, Zakary Watson and Samuel Zabet-Lopez plan to enter the workforce.

The junior class at Green Forest High School attended the ceremony, while the school band played beforehand. Representatives of various colleges and universities were on hand, as were representatives of the armed forces, trade schools and other organizations. Students were given banners displaying their future plans.

Tiffany James, college and career adviser at GFHS, served as master of ceremonies.
