David Wayne HollimanDavid Wayne Holliman, born June 11, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023, in Berryville, Arkansas. David was born in Michigan, to his parents, Lubie Holliman and Pauline Cox.
David was a proud serviceman, dedicating several years of his life to the Army National Guard. His service to his country was a testament to his courage, discipline, and commitment to protecting the freedoms we often take for granted. His dedication, hard work, and steadfastness were not only evident in his military service but also in all aspects of his life, working at Tyson Foods for over 35 years. David found joy and satisfaction in farming cattle. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, and fishing.
David is survived by his son, Dustin Holliman; Dustin’s mother, Angie Mosier; mother, Pauline Cox; and his granddaughter, Sofia Holliman; his sisters, Patricia Garner and her husband Pete, and Carolyn Poque and her husband Alan.
He is preceded by his father, Lubie Holliman; wife, Sharon Holliman; and brothers, Ronnie and Randall Holliman.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Tilley officiating. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
