The Merlin Foundation will be hosting its annual chili supper and silent auction on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Fred Grim Gym in Green Forest. The chili cookoff and silent auction will be held during the basketball games between Berryville and Green Forest.
Chili with all the fixings will be available for $5 every two bowls and a silent auction with items from local businesses and banks will be available until halftime of the final game.
Butch Hanby has also donated a custom “Comanche Knife” to be raffled off. Just like always, every dollar of the proceeds will be going to Carroll County’s Shop With A Cop Christmas program. This program allows the children of our community whose families need help this holiday season to receive Christmas gifts and winter clothing. Donations can be mailed to 206 S. Main St. in Berryville.
If anyone wants to enter their chili and try to become the reigning Chili Cookoff winner or wants to donate auction items, text or call Kaleigh Evans Soma at 870-517-1681.
