Chamber hosting candidates Feb. 19

Posted

The Berryville Chamber of Commerce will host an open house and networking event, themed Meet the Candidates, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the Berryville Community Center Auditorium.

“This event serves as a refreshed and revised version of our January 2025 ‘State of the State’ event, redesigned based on valuable feedback from past participants,” the chamber’s weekly newsletter said. “The updated format will be an informal, open-house style gathering with vendor space for candidate booths that allows for meaningful, one-on-one conversations with community members. There are opportunities for a few minutes on stage for candidates to introduce themselves.”

The event is free and open to the public.

“The Chamber is proud to host a neutral space that supports civic engagement and informed participation in our local election process,” the chamber newsletter said.

There is a $100 participation fee for candidates for booth space. Speaking times will be available on a first come, first serve basis as the schedule allows.

Participation is open to all declared candidates for city, county, state or national seats. CIf you would like to participate, email info@berryvillechamber. com or register at berryvillechamber. com/events and click “Register” under the Chamber Open House & Networking: Meet the Candidates event link.
