Cemetery commission plans workshop, open house

The Eureka Springs Cemetery Commission will host a workshop and open house beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 8 at the Eureka Springs Cemetery on Highway 62.

The event is open to all and will include a grave marker cleaning workshop and work session where participants will be taught the proper method for cleaning old stones.

At noon, Eureka Springs Mayor Butch Berry will dedicate the new cemetery office building and give a brief update on cemetery activities.

An open house and lunch will follow. The public is invited to attend any or all events, which are free.
