Green Forest’s Ywa Hay Moo won three events in the boys division at the Anstaff Junior Relays on Tuesday, April 2, in Green Forest, while Berryville’s Kai Killingsworth and Kinly Smith and Green Forest’s Avaley Gardner each won two events on the girls side.
Moo won the boys 100- and 200-meter dashes and also took first place in the 110-meter hurdles. He was second in the long jump. Teammate Shar Shee Doo Moh won the 300-meter hurdles and Kason Compton won the shot put, one spot ahead of teammate Silas Sparkman.
Green Forest’s Brandon Perez was second in the 100-meter dash and the Tigers’ Kier Lah was second in the discus.
The Lady Tigers’ Gardner, a seventh-grader. won both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. Teammate Mistie Hughes was third in the pole vault.
Killingsworth won the girls 800- and 1,600-meter runs. Smith took first place in both the discus and shot put.
Berryville seventh-grader Mikayla Killingsworth won the pole vault and finished second in the 400-meter dash and fourth in the 800-meter run.
Dalielah Kesler, another seventh- grader for the Lady Bobcats, was second in the pole vault.
Laykin Talley finished third in both the 300-meter hurdles and the long jump, while Bella Biggerstaff was third in the shot put and Kelly Diaz was third in the 100-meter hurdles.
Berryville’s CT Hicks won the boys high jump, while teammate John Butler won the triple jump and finished third in the 100-meter dash. Hudson Norris was second in the 300-meter hurdles and Carson McMellon took third place in the 1,600-meter run.
Green Forest took first place in the boys team standings while Berryville finished fourth. On the girls side, Berryville finished in first place with Green Forest sixth.
