Carolyn “Betsy” Sexton of Holiday Island, Arkansas was born February 24, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy and Carolyn (Dickie) Goar. Carolyn passed away June 6, 2022, in Holiday Island at the age of 78.
Carolyn enjoyed visiting with everyone, watching all kinds of sports but she enjoyed most of all being around her family, kids, and grandkids and feeding them all.
May 6, 1967, Carolyn was united in marriage to Jim Sexton who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her children, Danny Sexton and wife Diane, Mike Sexton and wife Amy; grandchildren, Jacob Sexton, Bailey Sexton, Josh Pickens; brother, Jim Goar; nephew, Doug Wilson; nieces, Beth Wilder and husband Marty, Debbie Wilson, Becky Spence and husband Craig; along with numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville.
