Arkansas State Senate District 28
Why are you seeking this office, and what experience or perspective best prepares you to serve effectively?
“I work hard to represent the people of my district. I do what’s best for them and not the big money special interests in Little Rock.”
What do you see as the most important issue facing your district right now, and what specific actions would you take to address it if elected?
“Knowing how the state’s demographics have changed it’s about still representing my constituents and the taxpayers. Fiscal responsibility is a huge problem in Little Rock . Waste, fraud, abuse and cronyism is costing hard-working taxpayers. Just look at the Franklin County mega-prison scam where one million has been paid to a California company and the only produce is a culvert. That same culvert on our farm cost $1,000. Also look how mega-consultant company Deloitte has secured $700 million by hiring government officials who awarded them the money.”
How do you approach budgeting, taxpayer dollars and long-term financial responsibility at the level of government you are seeking to serve?
“Many government programs are not cash-flowing. Relying on one-time money to cash flow LEARNS is not fiscally responsible. Also see my above answer as to how to stop taxpayer abuse. My opponent is funded by all these looking to fleece taxpayers.”
