The Berryville Bobcats rebounded from a 30-point loss just 24 hours earlier to play what coach Brent Compton called their best game so far this season in a 59-58 victory over Omaha in the consolation bracket of the Anstaff Bank Bev Stone Memorial Border Classic on Thursday, Nov. 30, in Omaha.

Sophomore Noah Houghton scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half and senior Dale Nagtalon had 11 of his 19 in the first half for Berryville, which led by five points at halftime and by seven at the end of the third quarter before hanging on down the stretch.

“Our kids really stepped up to the physical play and found a way to hold on and win it,” Compton said.
