The Berryville Bobcats enter the Class 4A boys state soccer tournament as the No. 4 seed from the 4A-West.
That means the Bobcats draw a first-round matchup against De Queen, the No. 1 seed from the 4A-South and a traditional power. The Leopards and Bobcats will play at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Robinson High School in Little Rock.
De Queen is 17-1 and riding a 16-game winning streak.
“We’re facing pretty much the No. 1 seed in the tournament,” Berryville coach Adam Brannon said. “We’re up against a really good team, but I feel like we are battle-tested because our conference is the toughest conference in the state.”
