The Berryville Bobcats lost a pair of games in the 67th Annual Green Forest Holiday Tournament, falling to Kingston 65-23 in the first round on Monday, Dec. 4, and to Blue Eye 56-18 in the consolation brackets on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
“We had a tough week,” Berryville coach Brent Compton said. “We had a hard time scoring and we had a hard time guarding. I felt like we could play harder. It just seemed like anything that could have gone wrong went wrong. And the other team, just the oppsosite. Everything that they did turned to gold, so to speak.”
Senior Dale Nagtalon led Berryville with 12 points against Kingston, while Peyton Smith had a team-high six points against Blue Eye.
The Bobcats will play just their second home game of the season Tuesday night against Blue Eye at Bobcat Arena before opening conference play on the road Friday at Farmington.
