The Berryville Bobcats picked up a pair of victories on the baseball diamond on Saturday, April 12, defeating Ozark Mountain 19-1 and Jasper 8-3.
Aayden Raya had a big game for the Bobcats against Ozark Mountain, driving in four runs on a pair of hits. Raya also scored three times.
Bryce Smith had three hits and scored four runs for Berryville. MT Tom also scored four times while Cason Willing and John Butler each had three runs scored.
Willing was the winning pitcher, allowing one earned run in three while holding Ozark Mountain hitless over three innings. Willing walked one batter and struck out seven.
Berryville had 11 hits, drew 11 walks and had six batters hit by pitch.
Smith and CT Hicks each had two hits and drove in three runs in the win over Jasper. Hicks also scored twice, as did Mason Bickell.
Hicks pitched three scoreless innings, striking out three batters, before Smith finished up with two innings of relief. Smith allowed two earned runs and struck out four batters.
Berryville travels to Prairie Grove on Tuesday, April 15, before hosting Green Forest on Thursday, April 17.
