District Mission: Ensuring high levels of learning for everyone,

every day!

We have had a great year at Berryville Schools and are looking forward to summer!

Bobcat Summer Camp for grades K-5 and Summer School for grades 6-12 will be held June 2-26. Even if your child is not attending summer school, we provide free meals to anyone age 18 years or younger at Berryville Middle School. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:30 and lunch will be provided from 11 to noon. For more information, contact Ed Wallace, Child Nutrition Director: Phone: 870-480-4627 or email: ewallace@bobcat.k12. ar.us.

We are very proud of the increase of academic letter grades across the district. For the first time, each school scored a “B” and the overall grade for the district is also a “B.” Staff members were provided lunch from Chick Filet and Pappy’s Smash Burgers last week as a way to recognize their hard work.

A portion of the letter grade is based on student academic growth from year to year. We want to recognize the following students for having the highest growth scores on the most recent assessment report: Mason Presley (Math), Genesis Suriano (Literacy), George Jeffrey (Science), Cyrus Cisco (Geometry), Gabriel Jiles (Algebra) and Kevin Arrizon (Biology). Congratulations to these students and to all of our students for the improvements we are seeing across the district!

Bobcat Academy (the afterschool program) will be having registration for the 2025-26 school year soon. Even if your student attended this year, you still need to register for the next year. Spots are limited so be watching for the registration information to be released.

A parent informational meeting for the new Virtual Education Program will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the administration office. Mr. Boone Hooker is going to be the virtual teacher/facilitator. Any questions regarding the program or courses can be directed to Mr. Hooker at bhooker@ bobcat.k12.ar.us.

We will be ready for students to return for the fall semester on Aug. 11, 2025. Have a fun and safe summer!
