Why are you seeking this office, and what experience or perspective best prepares you to serve effectively?
“I am running for State Senate because District 28 needs effective representation. The current State Senator frequently misses votes and has betrayed conservatives on numerous issues — most notably, school choice. I want to offer voters a chance to elect someone who will fight for their conservative values by supporting lower taxes, promoting safer communities, defending life and the Second Amendment, and protecting Arkansas against the left’s radical agenda. I will show up, work hard, and deliver results.
“My background running a small business, running a farm, and volunteering as a firefighter have prepared me to be a State Sena tor. These experiences showed me the issues confronting Arkansas and have provided me with insights on how to address them in Little Rock.”
What do you see as the most important issue facing your district right now, and what specific actions would you take to address it if elected?
“The most important issue facing Senate District 28 is affordability. Prices keep getting higher, and government fees and taxes are crushing hardworking families. As a conservative, I will fight to lower taxes, stop outrageous property tax increases, and bring down the cost of goods and services if elected.”
How do you approach budgeting, taxpayer dollars, and long-term financial responsibility at the level of government you are seeking to serve?
“I believe that government must learn to live within its means and guard taxpayer dollars very carefully. This means spending only on what the state can afford in its existing budget and returning unused money to the people of Arkansas whenever possible. This approach is the best way to ensure Arkansas’ long-term financial success.”
