Bob Ray of Berryville, Arkansas was born October 1, 1941, to Austin and Gladys (Smith) Ray in Berryville. Bob passed away June 21, 2022, in Berryville at the age of 80.
Bob served in the Army National Guard and was stationed at Fort Knox. He worked for the Eureka Springs School district from 1978 until 2003. Bob loved to fish, garden vegetables, and spend time with his family especially spoiling his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his children Roger Ray and wife Bonnie, Bobby Ray and wife Jennifer, Russell Ray and wife Stacy, Rhonda Zumalt; brothers Bill Ray, David Ray and wife Priscilla; daughter-in-law Kim Ray; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.
He is preceded by his parents Austin and Gladys Ray; wife Linda Ray; brother Gerald Ray; son Tony Ray; sister Carolyn Ray.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Memorial service will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 27, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Doby Williams officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Old Union Bunch Cemetery at any First National Bank of North Arkansas branch location.
