Blood drive April 27 at Mercy Berryville

Posted

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 27, at Mercy Hospital Berryville’s Medical Arts Conference Room.

As part of a spring promotion, all successful donors will receive an Ozarks Adventure Pass, which includes vouchers valued at more than $195 for admission to four attractions: Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Branson, the Discovery Center in Springfield, the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville and Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs.

CBCO is the sole supplier of blood, platelets and plasma for patients at Mercy Hospital Berryville and more than 40 other healthcare facilities across the Ozarks.

In addition to the attraction pass, donors will also receive a limited-edition “Route 56” themed T-shirt while supplies last.

Appointments are encouraged. Donors can schedule an appointment online at www.cbco.org/adventure or by calling 417-227-5006.

CBCO officials remind donors to bring photo identification and to eat well and stay hydrated prior to donating.
