Betty Jo Scarrow Ambrose of Berryville, Arkansas was born August 15, 1929 in Berryville, Arkansas to Lionel Earl Scarrow and Jo Franklin Scarrow. Betty passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Berryville at the age of 93.

Betty loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. _ey were the love of her life, and she was adored by her family. She was deeply spiritual woman of faith and loved the Lord. Betty was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church for many years. She also loved her extended family and friends and was a gentle and quietly elegant lady and was loved by all that knew her. Betty will be greatly missed, but we know she is reunited with her family that have gone on before and is celebrating with her loved ones in God’s glorious heaven.

She is survived by four children, Cindy (Robert) Clark of Berryville, Joe (Jenny) Ambrose of Steelville, Missouri, Betty Lynn (John) Long of Berryville, Danette Robinette (Tommy Joe Davis) of Oak Grove; brothers, Bobby (Freida) Scarrow, Roy (Linda) Scarrow of Berryville; sister, Dorothy Moore of Eureka Springs; sisters-in-law, Geneva Mae Scarrow of Eureka Springs, _reasa Ambrose of Berryville; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Betty was united in marriage on May 15, 1953, to Carl Ambrose who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her parents, Lionel Earl Scarrow and Jo Scarrow Edmondson; brothers, James Scarrow, John Scarrow; and her loyal companion dog of 13 years, Sophie.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, with Rev. Joe Summers ofciating. Interment will follow at Rocks Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. _ere will be lunch served at 1908 Gathering Place, 108 South Springeld Street, Berryville, AR 72616 for all that wish to attend.
