FaustBetty Jewel Faust, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 while surrounded by her loving family at Willard Walker Hospice House and ascended to her eternal home in heaven to be with Jesus. She was born May 21, 1932 in Maysville, Arkansas, to Walter “Jack” Elwin and Allie Geneva (Scates) Ames.
Betty married Edward C. Faust on January 22, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and together they were parents to four children. She was an avid reader and had a deep love for the Lord. She was employed for many years as an assembler at Baldwin Piano. Soft-spoken and kind, Betty’s warmth and love will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Betty was a devoted mother to her four children: Ed Faust (Pam) of Fayetteville, Steve Faust (Lisa) of San Antonio, Texas, Elise Faust of Fayetteville, and John Faust of Van Buren; five grandchildren: Jared Faust, Dustin Faust of Fayetteville, Stephanie Henderson of Prescott, Arizona, Zachary Faust of San Antonio, Texas, Blake Faust of Fayetteville, and four great-grandchildren: Carter and Kinlee Henderson of Prescott, Arizona and T.J. and Noah Faust of San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Mary Jane Crow, Patricia Seigal and two brothers, Walter Ames and Richard Ames, all of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Henry Ames and Jim Ames.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Carson officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Marshall Cemetery, Huntsville, Arkansas.
