Charlie Cross, chief executive officer of CS Bank, has announced Deretha Walker’s appointment to the local bank’s Advisory Board of Directors in Berryville.
Walker is a former banker with approximately 40 years of experience in the industry.
In addition to being a tenured bank executive, Walker has been very involved in the community of Berryville with stints on the Berryville School Board, Berryville City Council, Carroll County Community Foundation Board and the Mercy Hospital Board.
Walker and her husband, Todd, live on the family farm in Berryville.
“Deretha will be an outstanding addition to our board and we feel blessed to be afforded the opportunity to welcome her into the CS Bank family,” Cross said. “Her previous banking career and genuine love of the Berryville community and its citizenry make her a perfect fit for our growing company. I look forward to her affiliation for many years to come.”
