Carroll County rivals collided when Berryville traveled to Green Forest on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Berryville won the girls game, beating Green Forest 43-30. Green Forest beat Berryville in the boys game, taking a big early lead but then needing a fourth-quarter rally for a 56-51 victory. The Bobcats and Tigers met for a second time on Monday, Nov. 27, playing in the Bev Stone Memorial Border Classic at Omaha. That game was played after the deadline for this week’s issue of the Carroll County News. Also on Monday night, Green Forest’s girls played the host team in the Omaha tournament, while Berryville’s girls took on Reeds Spring in a tournament at Blue Eye.
