You might remember that Berryville was established in 1851. But did you know that Berryville United Methodist Church was organized that same year?
The strength of the church has always been intertwined throughout the years with life in Berryville. We joined together to revive the church and the community after fires, tornadoes and even a flood.
Today, the Berryville United Methodist Church is still very much a part of Berryville supporting community activities and organizations. The church is home to early voting, senior sponsored exercise classes, Kiwanis and TOPPS meetings, a warming center, a blessing box (a little food pantry off the parking lot), a ministry to the residents of Blossoms, and much more.
If you are or have been a part of our church and you have stories or pictures to share, we would love to hear from you as we plan our 175th Celebration in September of 2026. In the meantime, you can check us out on Facebook (bvfumc) or YouTube (berryvilleunitedmethodistchurch) each Sunday at 11 a.m, Rev. John Michael, Pastor. Or, let us welcome you when you join us for Sunday service.
