Have you ever wondered if you could survive Wonderland? Kids ages 8 and up have a chance to see at the Berryville Library’s Spring Break Camp this year.
Spring Break Camp will be held Monday through Friday, March 20-24. Each day’s session starts at 1 pm and ends at 5 pm. Registration is not required, and you don’t have to attend all five days to participate. Kids can drop in for any or all the days, as your Spring Break plans allow.
Each day will present a new adventure focused on a different set of survival skills that Alice needed to demonstrate during her adventures in the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Skills like not panicking to shooting straight and keeping fit will be tested through a variety of games, activities and craft projects. There will also be movies related to the theme shown three days of the week and snacks every day. All supplies are provided for free.
While it is not required to have read the book to participate in the camp, those kids who want to prepare can pick up a free copy of the book at the Berryville Library anytime this month. There are a limited number of books available to be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the library to reserve a copy.
For more information about this year’s Spring Break Camp or any of their free public programs, visit the Berryville Public Library at 104 Spring St. or call 870-423-2323.
