Posted

The Berryville Library, in partnership with NorthArk and the Carroll and Madison Library System, will host free basic digital literacy training workshops for the community in both English and Spanish to help close the digital divide.

Using resources from Digitallearn.org, workshops will help members build skills and confidence using technology. Topics include computer basics, internet basics, email basics and mobile device basics (Apple iPhones/tablets). Participants will be entered to win an Android 13 tablet, and refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. Call 870-423-2323 to reserve your seat.

Workshops will be presented each Monday, beginning with Computer Basics on Monday, Nov. 27. Internet Basics will be presented Monday, Dec. 54, followed by Email Basics on Monday, Dec. 11, and Mobile Device Basics (Apple iPhone/Tablet) on Dec. 18.

Workshops will be presented in English from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and in Spanish from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the computer lab of NorthArk’s Carroll County Center at 804 W. Freeman Ave. For more information about workshops and a calendar of related public programs provided by the Berryville Public Library, visit berryvillelibrary.org or call 870-423-2323.
