The Berryville High School wrestking team hosted the annual Bobcat Winter Blowout on Saturday, with a total of 10 teams competing.
Berryville finished fifth in the team standings, but Bobcats senior Tun Oo took first place in the 190-pound weight class and was named the tournament’s outstanding wrestler. Oo won all three of his contested matches by pin, including a win over Gravette’s Aiden Holloway in the championship match.
Berryville’s Justin Allen took first place at 132 pounds. He matched Oo with wins by pin in all three of his contested matches.
David Moreno also brought home first place for the Bobcats, winning four of his five matches — all by pin — in the 285-pound weight class.
Jarrett Mann took fourth place at 157 pounds for Berryville.
The Bobcats were scheduled to compete in a dual meet Tuesday in Fayetteville but the meet was canceled because of an expected winter storm.
