The Greater Berryville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of Kait Ballinger as its new executive director for the chamber.

“Kait brings an outgoing personality and high energy, along with vast experience in the Berryville business community,” the chamber said in a news release. “She has a wealth of experience with customer service, technology, social media, public speaking and writing skills.”

“I’m so looking forward to working with Kait,” chamber board president James Myatt said. “Her experience and energy will be great for our chamber and for Berryville in its entirety. “ Since their arrival in Berryville, Kait and her husband, Brad, have been engaged in various businesses and activities in Berryville. Their businesses have included Encore Clothes, The Good Coffee Company and B Goods Trading, plus Brad’s photography studio, Timberlight Photography. They have also assisted with the chamber’s Ice Cream Social, orchestrated a fashion show for the square merchants and helped re-establish the Farmer’s Market, as well as numerous other activities.

“The chamber has made a great selection with Kait Ballinger,” Berryville Mayor Tim McKinney said. “The City looks forward to seeing how she and the board works together to promote Berryville.”

“Kait is going to bring such great energy and dedication to the chamber,” said Debbie Jecker, the chamber’s outgoing executive director. “Her exuberance for and commitment to Berryville is evident in everything she does. The Berryville Chamber is very blessed to have Kait onboard.”

“I am grateful for the opportunity to support and serve the people of Berryville. … It’s where my heart is, and I am so excited to see where this next year takes us as a community. The future is good!” Ballinger said.

Ballinger began her new position on Monday, Nov. 13.
