Area Agency on Aging of NWA celebrates 45 years

Posted

We are excited to announce that the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas (AAANWA) is commemorating 45 years of dedicated service. Since 1979, we have been committed to enhancing the lives of seniors in Baxter, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Marion, Newton, Searcy, and Washington Counties. Our mission is to improve the lifestyle of individuals aged 60 and older, as well as provide essential services to military veterans and persons with disabilities. As a non-profit organization, we provide a wide range of services to the communities we serve, including Adult Day Center, Care Coordination, Family Caregiver Support Program, Housing, Inhome services, Senior Activity Wellness Centers, Meals on Wheels, Ombudsman program, Personal Emergency Response systems, and more.

As we reflect on our journey of the past 45 years, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported us along the way. Together, we have made a positive impact on countless lives, and look forward to continuing this important work.

For more information about our services, please call 870-741-1144 or visit our website at www. aaanwar.org.
