LyleAnna Marie Lyle of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was born in Dallas, Texas on June 20, 1935, to Cecil and Altha Mae (Banks) White. Marie passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 89.
Marie was a member of the Holiday Island Community Church and an Eastern Star. She loved music and playing the piano. She started playing in churches when she was in her teens and continued until about 10 years ago. Traveling and searching for antiques was a favorite pastime. As a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, she will be missed greatly.
Marie is survived by her sons, Ricky Tice (Harriet) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Mike Tice (Kim) of Weatherford, Texas. Her caregiver of 15 years, Brenda Kellam. Five grandchildren, Hayden Tice (Crystal) of Springtown, Texas, Melissa Tice of Lewisville, Texas, Tiffanie Young of Middleburg, Florida, Mariyah Henderson (Kolby) of Weatherford, Texas, and David Tice (Molly) who are both serving in the military. Seven great-grandchildren, Jaylyne, Trinity, Truette, Atlee, Zoe, Kailyah and baby sprout on the way. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Tice Jr. and second husband, Claude Lyle Jr.; her parents, Cecil and Altha Mae White; her sister, Mary Evelyn Stewart; and her brother, C. A. White.
Funeral was 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Nelson’s Chapel of the Springs with Kolby Henderson officiating. Interment followed at the Eureka Springs Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral. com.
