The second weekend in June is still a little more than two weeks away, but organizers are hard at work preparing for the 38th Annual Berryville Ice Cream Social.
This year’s Ice Cream Social will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7-8, on the historic Berryville Square.
Tyson Foods — Carroll County’s largest employer — is the presenting sponsor for the fourth consecutive year while Hiland Dairy is in its second year as the product provider for the Ice Cream Social.
As always, there will be plenty to see and do at this year’s Ice Cream Social, from live music on the Equity Bank stage and a variety of vendor booths starting Friday, June 7, to the 5K run hosted by Grandma’s House and the Berryville Kiwanis Club’s annual youth fishing derby on Saturday, June 8.
Two new events this year will be basketball and volleyball tournaments beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Berryville Community Center.
The little ones will be sure to have a good time, too, at the Kiddie Korral sponsored by CS Bank.
And don’t forget about the Miss Royal Scoop pageant, to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Berryville Community Center.
Add it all together — and cross your fingers for some pleasant late-spring weather — and it’s sure to be a grand time for the whole family!
