The second weekend in June is coming up in just a few days and in Carroll County that can only mean one thing: It’s time for the annual Berryville Ice Cream Social.
This year’s Ice Cream Social — the 37th — will be held Friday and Saturday, June 9-10, on the historic Berryville Square.
Tyson Foods — Carroll County’s largest employer — is the presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year. Hiland Dairy joins in the fun as the product provider for this year’s event.
As always, there will be plenty to see and do at this year’s Ice Cream Social, from the Miss Royal Scoop pageant on Thursday night to the 5K run and youth fishing derby on Saturday night. Of course, there will be live entertainment on the Equity Bank Stage. If you’re a fan of classic cars, don’t miss the Spring Street Cruise-In at 6 p.m. Friday.
A new event this year will be “Berryville’s Got Talent” at 3 p.m. Friday on the Equity Bank Stage.
The little ones will be sure to have a good time, too, at the Kiddie Korral sponsored by CS Bank.
Add it all together — and throw in a forecast calling for beautiful latespring weather — and it’s sure to be a grand time for the whole family!
