Three Berryville High School seniors received some postseason accolades on Monday, capping off their high school basketball careers.
Berryville coach Brent Compton said senior Jake Wilson earned all-state honors and also was named to the 4A-1 all-conference team along with classmates Nate Allen and D.J. Colbert. Colbert also was named to the conference’s all-defensive team.
“They were very deserving for sure,” Compton said.
Allen and Wilson were named to the all-conference team for the third consecutive year. Wilson, who scored a career-high 38 points in his final game for Berryville — a first-round state tournament loss to Dardanelle — earned his first all-state selection.
“That’s a big accomplishment,” Compton said. “All-state is big time.”
