Opera in the Ozarks

Opera in the Ozarks held its opening night on Friday, July 2, featuring Donizetti’s Lucia Di Lammermoor, an operatic tragedy. Edgardo and Lucia (Perry Chacon and Elizabeth Fisher) love each other but their fate is that of star-crossed lovers and in the end they share the same destiny as Romeo and Juliet. Opera in the Ozarks runs through July 23 and includes Massenet’s 'Cendrillon' and an abridged family version of Mozart’s 'The Magic Flute.'
