Four Eureka Springs High School seniors and Connect 4 students received letters of intent to hire from various local and regional businesses during a Career Placement Signing Day ceremony for graduates of the program on Wednesday, May 11, 2021, at the Carroll County Career Center in Berryville. Receiving letters were (seated, from left) Alex Hall to All Pro Plumbing, Alex Yarberry to Ducommun, Weston Armer to Nighthawk and Hunter Nystrom to Crawdad Plumbing. On hand for the ceremony were (back, from left) Billy Carmen of All Pro Plumbing, Blake Jech and Nelson Davis of Nighthawk, and Claudia Lokamas of Ducommun. Kevin Crawford of Crawdad Plumbing was unable to attend. The Connect 4 program offers junior and senior students from the Berryville, Eureka Springs and Green Forest school districts the opportunity to pursue a technical education during the school day, with an eye toward industrial maintenance, machining, welding, robotics and electrical work.
