Senior Center set to reopen
The Carroll County Senior Activity & Wellness Center will reopen on Monday, May 3, the center announced Monday. The center will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Curbside meals will still be available for clients who are not yet comfortable coming into the center for a meal, but the curbside meal pickup time will change. Beginning Monday, May 3, curbside meals will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 11:30 am. Clients must call 870-423-3265 before 10:30 am to pick up a meal. The center cannot guarantee a meal for patrons who do not call.
A congregate meal will be served inside the Senior Center at noon each day by reservation only. Because of limited capacity inside the center, clients must call before 10:30 am to reserve a spot for lunch.
Face coverings and social distancing are required for all staff, volunteers and clients while inside the Senior Center and while on a Senior Center transportation vehicle.
Face coverings and social distancing are required at all times, except while eating during the noon congregate meal.
Hand-sanitizing stations are available throughout the Center as well as on transportation vehicles.
Due to capacity restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who can be allowed inside the center at one time.
