Soccer: Tigers keep record clean with 2 wins

The Green Forest Tigers kept their record spotless last week with a pair of victories.

The Tigers scored three second-half goals for a 4-1 victory over Decatur on Tuesday, April 13, then shut out Lincoln 6-0 on Thursday.

Against Decatur, Pablo Leonís penalty kick put Green Forest ahead 1-0 at halftime and the Tigers pulled away over the final 40 minutes with two goals from Lah Kpro and one from Blue Doh Soh.

In the win over Lincoln, the Tigers got goals from Emerson Ortiz, Kpro, Izzak Merida, Tony Gonzalez and Collin Delavin.

The Tigersí scheduled Senior Night game on Friday was rained out. Senior Night instead will be held on Thursday, April 29, against Life Way Christian.

Green Forest will host Lead Hill on Tuesday and Bergman on Thursday.
