Soccer: Lady Tigers bounce back with easy win

Tuesday, April 20, 2021

The Green Forest Lady Tigers are doing just fine, thanks.

The Lady Tigers bounced back from their first loss of the season in a big way, rolling to a 14-1 victory over Lincoln last Thursday.

Kimberly Lopez scored five goals in the runaway win, while Samantha Delavin added three, Emily Lozano and Blanca Galindo had two apiece and Bianca Rosales and Myndy Zamora each added one.

The big win came just six days after the Class 3A Lady Tigers lost 6-0 to Class 4A Harrison.

Green Forestís scheduled Senior Night game on Friday was rained out. Senior Night instead will be held on Thursday, April 29, against Life Way Christian.

This week, the Lady Tigers will play Shiloh Christian on Tuesday in Springdale before traveling to Mountain View (Mo.) Liberty on Friday.
