Beverly Jeanette Brumlow, born in Marlin Texas on April 24, 1943 to Dutch and Mildred Lucille (Baxter) Flanakin, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas at the age of 77.
Like her mother, she loved to quilt and sew. Jeanette also enjoyed traveling and seeing new things. She recently went to Wyoming and could not get over how big the mountains were. Her faith in Christ has always been the most important thing to her. Her servant hearted life has been a true testimony to the Lord she loved and serves. Jeanette always had a smile and kind word. I’m sure she heard “Well done, my good and faithful servant” when she entered Heaven’s gates.
Jeanette is survived by two children Beverly Jeanette Blankenship and husband David Ray and Alva Lee Price Brumlow III and wife Margarita; three grandchildren Amanda Willoughby and husband Cory, Travis Blankenship and wife Kelsey, and Mia Brumlow; one great grandchild Ayva Kate; brother Robert Flanakin; sisters Judy Smith, Betty Stokes, Janie Gray and husband Bobby; sister-in-law Linda Brumlow; aunt Anne Gaudin; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
On June 5, 1961 Jeanette married Alva Lee Price Brumlow Jr. who preceded her in death on August 12, 2016. She is also preceded by her parents Dutch and Mildred Flanakin; brother James Donald Flanakin; parent-in-laws Alva Lee Brumlow Sr and Katherine Caroline Brumlow.
