Mark Everett Watts
Mark Everett Watts, 32 of Gore, Okla., died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A graveside memorial service was held Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004 at Alpena Cemetery, with Rev. Curly Johnson and Rev. James Davis officiating. A second graveside memorial service was to be held at Lee Cemetery in Sandtown, Ark. (outside of Batesville) at 2:00 P.M. Friday Oct. 8. A family gathering after the service was to be at the home of Philip and Brenda Poff in Batesville.
Mark Watts, the son of Susie Taylor and Donnie Watts, was born Jan. 15, 1972, in Harrison. Mark had lived most of his life in Alpena, AR and Phoenix, Ariz. before he made his way to Gore. Mark was an excellent teller of stories. He enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, watching old classic movies, shopping, and spending time with his many nieces and nephews as well as visiting with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Alice C. Watts and a nephew, Grant Cook.
Mark is survived by his parents, Susie and Gene Taylor of Lead Hill, Ark., and Donnie and Vada Watts of Gore; five siblings and their families, Sheila and Todd Rogers, Aleshia Sims and Eric Sims, all of Bergman; Mike and Kristy Watts, Courtney, Savanha, Tristan, and Quintin of Gore; Marty Watts of San Antonio, Texas; Samantha and Roughy McCoy, Allison and Allizabeth of Alpena; and Sarah and Mark Cook, Garrett and Amelya of Bergman.
Grandparents are Grover and Helen Downes of Lead Hill and William C. and Barbara Wafts of Muldrow, Okla, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
