J.D. Lynch, 56, of Golden, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, in Berryville.
He was born April 24, 1946, in Lubbock, Texas, son of James Perry and Jewell (Walden) Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was a self-made businessman. He was a strong-willed leader who motivated many of his friends to reach their personal goals. He enjoyed many hobbies, including computers, dachshunds, and especially RC Airplanes. He said that nothing made him happier than cooking for his friends and watching their enjoyment.
On Aug. 8, 1992, he married Vicky (Giberson) Lynch, who survives him, of the home. He is also survived by four sons, Joe Lynch Jr. and wife Annette of Springfield, Mo., James Allen Lynch and wife Becky of Jefferson City, Mo., Paul Dan Lynch of California, and Thomas Wayne Lynch of Golden; four daughters, Ashley Jo Lynch of Golden, Linda Watts of Marshville, Mo., Christinia South of Pennsylvania, and Geniene Fever of Berryville; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Robert Lynch; and a sister, Thelma Dobbs.
Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service.
