The Berryville and Green Forest libraries have teamed up to present the “Soy Super / I’m Super” national traveling exhibit in Carroll County. The exhibit allows people of all ages, but especially tweens, to explore the benefits and applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in our lives.

Our pet of the week this week is Buster Brown. He is a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy! He does well with other dogs and is more than happy to go for a walk or be lazy on the couch with you. He is neutered and ready to go home today! Come meet Buster at the Good Shepherd Humane Society Adoption Center any day from noon to 5 p.m.

The Carroll County Senior Activity and Wellness Center is located at 202 W. Madison Ave. in Berryville. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Lunch is served at noon each weekday. The suggested donation for ages 60 and up is $4. There is a $6 charge for those under 60 and all carryout meals. Breakfast is served Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Menus are subject to change.
