A-ROD is in a NEW YORK State of Mind

Alex Rodriguez will return to the Bronx in 2015.
"I think he's going to come in and compete, but from the chair I'm in, I've got to wait and see how it all plays out," New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman said Friday in a conference call.
"Alex can help us as an everyday third baseman, he can help us in a DH role, and I know Joe Girardi conveyed to me that he talked to him briefly about getting some work at first base," Cashman continued. "Joe had a conversation with him recently about that; how extensive that conversation was, I don't know, but he conveyed it to me."
"Until we know what we really have after a year of being down, moving forward at full health and a full offseason to train, at his age, until we get a chance to see it on a daily basis, I think it's just hard to assume anything."
