It may be an up and down season for the Berryville Lady Bobcats. Certainly, it was an up down first couple of games.

The Lady Bobcats split a pair of games in Green Forest’s Queens of the Court tournament, beating Lincoln 58-35 on Thursday, Nov. 11, before losing to Bergman 66-25 in the championship game on Saturday.

Junior guard Hannah Youngblood scored 12 points and seniors Anni Armer and Faith Kelley added 11 points apiece in the win over Lincoln. The Lady Bobcats led 31-12 at halftime.

“I liked our balanced scoring,” Berryville coach Daniel Cornelison said. “I really appreciated our effort and how hard they worked. I thought we shot free throws real well. I was proud, for early in the year, how well we shot free throws.”

Youngblood scored seven points and Kelley had six in the loss to Bergman.

Berryville played at Green Forest on Monday. The Lady Bobcats will travel to Yellville to face Yellville-Summit on Monday, Oct. 22, before breaking for Thanksgiving.
